Kielce Bishops’ Palace in Warsaw. 6 words, of which 3 are the names of cities – pretty good achievement 😉
To a short list of Baroque palaces in Warsaw for two months has joined another, The Bishops’ Palace from Kielce. It is perhaps even the most beautiful of them all. It is in accordance to the Italian barocco – a real Baroque gem. It happened due to the exhibition “The In Bull’s palace” that was held in the Opera Gallery. Why John Bull, instead of Franciszek Starowieyski Biberstein coat of arms? Why in Kielce baroque palace? It’s a long story. A partial answer to these questions you can find for example here (in Polish) – "Kultura do kwadratu".
An interesting coincidence is also exhibited at that time in Gallery Elevator in Kielce exhibition entitled “The Parisian Friendships"”. I add 3 photos of its vernissage
